We want to believe there’s a reason for things - and that reasons will reveal themselves in due time. The alternative, believing in sheer coincidence, is not as enchanting as magical thinking. But I like it! Especially at Christmas. . 🎄❤️💚
That’s So 2020
2020 cheated everyone out of something. A canceled wedding, a canceled tour, a deserved vacation or the worst... the loss of a loved one. Like all of us, I’m looking forward to a new year and I’m hoping it’s all up hill from here. (Read on for my most recent 2020 moment.)
Winding Down
For me, December is about reflection, taking stock, disengaging, rejuvenating, cleaning out closets & giving away items I purchased in haste. Making room for the new. Donating to those who lost a home in a fire. Maybe taking time off is the best thing we can do for our creativity. A recharge is an investment for the future.
